I graduated from Cabot High School in 2008. I attended Arkansas State University and graduated in the spring of 2013.  

Degrees and Certifications:

I recieved a B.S.E. centering on Mid-Level Education from ASU.  I am certified to teach all four core subjects (math, science, language arts, and social sciences) in grade levels 4-8.  I am also in the process of completing twelve hours of graduate credit toward an ESL endorsement.

Current Position:

This will be my first year in the Berryville School District, but it is my second year as an educator. I will be teaching 7th Grade Science and 8th Grade Math this school year. 

Previous Position:

I previously taught 6th and 8th Grade Science at Lakewood Middle School in the North Little Rock School District during my first year of teaching.  I also student taught at Vilonia Middle School in Vilonia, Arkansas.

Family Information:

My husband, Steven Hill, and I are newlyweds as of September, 2014.  We are both from Cabot, Arkansas.  Steven is a C.A.D. Operator at Ducommon (formerly LaBarge).

We do not have any children, but we do consider our dog to be our baby. Avery is a mix between a Deutche Drathaar and a Siberian Husky.

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors and being active. I have played volleyball every year since I was in 8th grade. I have a strong passion for volleyball and thought about trying to coach one day. I also love to go camping and hiking.  When it gets cold outside, I love to read and do crafts, wood-burning specifically.
